This is something I found on the net and since this forum is in desperate need of some samsung Jet posts  Wink I will post it here. I've tried it with my jet and it works. Game name is the name of the folder you create and you need a .jad file. If its not supplied with the .jar, google for a jad creator.

1) google for TkFileExplorer v2.2 and install it on your computer.
2) close Samsung new PC Studio (yes close it! y don’t it for this)
3) connect jet to PC and choose PC STUDIO usb mode
4) run tkfileexplorer
5) choose right com port and click connect
6) browse to games folder at “User/Mass/Java/Games”
7) create a new folder for your new software (place JAD and JAR files here)
Cool close tkfileexplorer and open keypad on your jet
9) enter: *#6984125*# to open factory menu
10) choose internals
11) enter: *#9072641*# master key
12) choose 6 storage settings
13) choose 3 update java db
14) quit factory menu and go check the games menu.

Try this method.

1. Download the game to your phone using http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php or http://www.imserba.com/wapupload/. (you will need the .jar for the app)
For regular games, stop here. For games that need permissions, continue on.
2.  Go into your phone using TKFE. Go to
/EXE/JAVA/GAMES/(name of the game or app)
3. Delete the manifest.mf file if there is one installed.
4. Delete the contents of the appdb folder for the game, BUT not the folder itself.
5. Disconnect and start the app.

Let me know how it does on the Jet. This works great on the Eternity and the Impression.

sounds cool. What emulator and how did you do it? And how do you play the games? They work with a touchscreen? I guess some games do.

Hi, i´m using a diferent way to install games and applications.
Just using my bluetooth.

1º- Download the *.jar application to my pc.
2º- Send via Bluetooth to jet.
3º- Goto the jet file manager
4º- Click on *.jar file, and a popup menu ask what to do with the file, just install.
5º- Enjoy your new application.

When I do that *#6984125*# I get an error saying "Rejected by network" instead of getting the admin screen. Any idea why? And how to solve this problem? When I download using wap it works, but when I try to copy file using USB, and try to update using the admin screen, I don't seem to be able to even enter it!

Whait if you  have a MAC or don't want to mess with hidden seetings?

Well you can add Java apps and games like so:

Get the .jar game onto your MAC / PC.

go to this website:

http://www.melodiasgsm.com/index_en.php

upload your .jar file to the site. You will be given a number/code for your upload and will  be directed to go to http://wap.melodiasgsm.com/ using your phones browser and to enter the code in the box provided  (tap on it to open the keypad and enter the number)

Then tap twice on the link below the box you entered the code in to download and install the file. The link is in a foreign language but it is dead obvious.

That's it, the phone should install the game.

The site generates a JAD file from the JAR you uploaded.

This works for me very well. So thanks.

Here are, by the way, good sites to get few games which are compatible with Jet:
www.mylgarena.com/ (this requires registeration)

Hello, I just bought a samsung s8003 jet and couldnt access the factory menu either (had same problem of nothing happening) but some more googling got me:

1) Enter Admin setting menu *#5239870*#
2) Enter Internal menu Master key *#7092463*#

so slightly different to previously mentioned.

The last steps are still the same though ie:

"12) choose 6 storage settings
13) choose 3 update java db
14) quit factory menu and go check the games menu. "

its just worked for me so hope it does if uv got the same problem (and model it seems)

also im looking for a game i used to have on my old samsung called "Bubble smile"...if anyone knows where i can download it please let me know thanks!
