you guys prob know most of the specs and everything, so i'll go into the details.

Music Player:

the music player is one of the best one i've used. it has like 12 different types of different type of sounds profiles to choose from. and while using a head phone with the 5.1ch digital surround sound, the music listening experience is amazing. okay here the downside to this music player, as amazing as it is, when your searching though all your tracks there isnt an option to type in and search for a specific songs. you also can't scroll down categorizing by the first letter (like you can with your contacts). the speed of which you scroll down the list is like 15songs per flick. so if you have like thousands of songs it would take forever to get to the Z. but fortunately you can search the song by categorizing through their author or album, or just put the music player on shuffle.

Messaging:

I've been spoiled with phones that has Threaded-SMS and the Samsung Jet DOES NOT have Threaded-SMS, so this transition was a bit hard for me, but since i'm not a heavy texter i think i can live. hopefully samsung realizes this and creates a firmware to fix this problem.

Screen:

all i can say about the AMOLED screen is WOW... the screen is just so bright crisp and clear! even when i set the brightness level to the lowest, the screen is still amazing, even in the sunlight.I ripped a dvd to mp4 to see if their claim about the "dvd quality" is true, and i have to say that it most defiantly is, and might be even better!, there was no lag or anything at all!

Touch Screen Sensitivity:

The touch screen technology that the Jet uses is called R-Resistive which is supposed to combine the best of capacitive and resistive screens. But i have say that this claim is false. It is more sensitive when compared to  all of the other resistive touchscreen, but when compared to a capacitive screen, but is not as sensitive. The last phone i had was HTC G1, which has a capacitive touch, when compared to jet, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most sensitive, the G1 gets a 10(since no pressure need to be applied), while the jet gets an 8.5(only a small amount of pressure needed) and other resistive screens like the samsung Behold, i give that one a 5 (since you need to apply a fairly large amount of pressure)

Battery life:

I'm very impressed with the battery live of this device. even after hours and hours of internet browsing, texting, listening to music, and watching videos, the battery life just barely touches half way. I'm guessing the power consumption is greatly reduced with the AMOLED screen and not using 3G (since i live in the US)

Internet Browser:

I have to say, i like this browser a lot since it has a flash player and the one-touch zoom option. i like the one-touch zoom option a lot better than the multi touch zoom thing on the iphone. so you can zoom in and out of sites with just one hand, unlike the iphone. Since it's a resistive touchscreen, the option to use a stylus or your nails, to click on links is really good. when you try to click on small links on a capacitive screen, there are many times that i accidentally clicked on wrong links by accident, since it's not much precision. The downside to this browser is that you have to manually chance the internet profile to Wi-Fi, or 3g/Edge, or vice versa. So if i want to use wi-fi, i have to go to settings, change the connection from edge to wifi, when im done, i have to go back to settings, change the connections back. it's such a pain, i just stay on edge eventho its alot slower.

Camera:

The Camera, is good, but i would be nice if we had a digital zoom option. The flash is pretty bright, and it would also be nice if we had an option to just keep the lights on as a flashlight (which i was able to do with most phones with flash), but the light only goes on for 1 second before the picture is taken. not long enough to act as a flashlight.

Smarter than a Smartphone?:

well it beats like alot of smartphones, (like the old ones and some of the new ones) the Multi-task function is great because the iphone or the G1 doesnt have it, which is kinda sad... and the 800mz processor is impressive too. altho i would like to know how much RAM it has, or does it have any? the overall performance was really good, except for some lags in viewing pictures, and web browsing (i would have to blame my service for that). There isnt any app store, but that inst really much of a concern for me since there are plenty of JAVA apps that can be installed. so i would have to say that it could be a little bit smarter than a smartphone. But im not a business person that needs all those financing or whatever options they use. But Hey, it beats having to pay for the smartphone service, which is what? 2-3 times the price of the normal data plan?

Most of the Cons about this phone are mostly software problems, if they can fix it, this phone will be almost perfect.
