Hi!
I'm new to this forum as i just found it in my search for help with activating some function the phone is supposed to have.
I've had my Jet for about a month now and I've been looking around in the settings for a way to enable the motion-sensor to be able to double-tap, shaking and tilting the phone to do things with different programs since it seems like they aren't already enabled. i really like the phone over all, but it would be more fun to be able to use all the functions.

if anyone know how to enable that movement-accelerator i'd be a really happy guy Smiley

thanks for reading.

Try to hold the motion gate button for one or two seconds, so it is going to open the motion tutorial before you open the cube. You can skip it by clicking on the red X if you already know how to use the motion commands. And then you can flip your phone left and right to open the aplication you want. I use the motion tool basically for audio, to change the radio station or to jump audio tracks while walking or running without pushing any button.
If you want, you can change the options on the cube, just go to menu>settings>motion settings>motion gate. there you can choose the double tapping to take a photo, for example.

Hope this post can be useful
Cheers!

Hi william,

I too just got my Samsung Jet recently and I'm having trouble with the Motion Gate functionality.

The demo is working just fine but when I set the Motion Gate functionalities through the Settings (ie Etiquette Pause, Speaker Call), it isn't working. The Smart Lock is activated, does that have anything to do with the Motion Gate not working? Thanks in advance.
