Email set up - Samsung Jet

Hi,

I have been trying to set up my email on my samsung jet s8000 and I have finally got it so it will let me access my hotmail emails and retrieve them but it will not let me reply, it just keeps saying connection failed. My Settings are:-

Account Name: Hotmail
SMPT: smpt.live.com
SMPT Port: 587
Secure Connection: TLS
Incoming Server: POP3
POP3 Server: pop3.live.com
POP3 Port: 995
APOP Login: Unticked
Secure Connection: SSL
Download Limit: 500
Retrieving Option: Subject Only
Keep on Server: Ticked
My Address: *******@hotmail.com
Username: *******@hotmail.com
Password: ********
POP before SMPT: Unticked
SMPT AUTH: Ticked
Same as POP3/IMAP4: Ticked

POP3 server: pop3.live.com
POP3 port: 995
APOP login: Unticked
Secure connection: SSL
Download Limit: 10 [choose number of emails to download]
Retrieving option: Subject only
Keep on server: Ticked _/
My address: xxxxxxx@hotmail.com [your email address]
User name: xxxxxxx@hotmail.com [your email address]
Password: ******* [your email password]
POP before SMTP: Unticked
SMTP auth. : Ticked _/
Same as POP3/IMAP4: Ticked _/

Gmail [Send & Receive]
You need to Enable POP/IMAP from your Gmail account.
Login to http://www.gmail.com
Go to Settings >> Forwarding and POP/IMAP
POP Download: Enable POP for all mail
Save Changes

Phone
Account Name: Gmail [Choose any name you want]
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
Secure connection: SSL
Incoming server type: POP3
POP3 server: pop.gmail.com
POP3 port: 995
APOP login: Unticked
Secure connection SSL
Download Limit: 10 [choose number of emails to download]
Retrieving option: Subject only
Keep on server: Ticked _/

Has not been able to configure/use Yahoo but I go to http://m.yahoo.com/mail alternatively on my phone browser

Dear all,

I have set the Samsung Jet S8003 use the specification given, but face error as "DNS fail". Seek help. Thanks.

is there a way you can download your email via wlan connection?
there seems to be no option for this

Hello from another jet newbie with probs setting up email (tiscali account this time)
I have the following settings at the moment, can anyone suggest what is wrong?

account name = myname@tiscali.co.uk
smtp server = smtp.tiscali.co.uk
smtp port = 465
secure connection = ssl
incoming server type = pop3
pop3server = pop.tiscali.co.uk
pop3 port = 995
apop login = unticked
secure connection = ssl
download limit = 25
retrieving option = subject only
keep on server =ticked
my address = my email address User name = my email address
Password = my password
Pop before smtp = unticked. SMTP auth = unticked

Message said config successful but I have no mail in my inbox!
