Settings for Yahoo.com mail, not sure if this works for .co.uk email addresses

Account Name:  Yahoo
SMTP server: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP port: 25
Secure connection: off
Incoming server type: imap.n.mail.yahoo.com
IMAP4 port: 143
Secure connection: SSL

Rest of it is quite simple, just fill in user name, email address and password.

I had to pinch these settings of my Nokia N97

Hope they work for you as they did for me.

For Hotmail:

POP server: pop3.live.com
POP port 995
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com
SMTP port 25 or 587

Allow SSL for both POP and SMTP

Are you trying to use this through wifi, if so, mine wont let me do that, I've got the internet add on with 3 and it works fine through that.

Just double check your settings
